Makeover

I finally decided to move this blog to new template. Blogger has been asking me for sometime to do it, but I couldn't because I did a lot of customization to it and don't want to do it all over again. Anyway, I did it -- and to my surprise, it was not too bad. The new features were great and easy to use. I was able to change it back to what I wanted without editing the html template itself.

Sometimes change is something we just have to embrace. We are so reluctant to change because we people taught us that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". But things don't have to be broke before you make changes. Improvements count a lot. If it can make something to look better, perform better, or used more efficiently, then it is worth to face changes.

There’s a lots of things to improve one self. Fitness, for example, is something most men tend to neglect. They are all busy with work that they don’t find time to exercise. Their thinking is that they don’t get sick, so therefore, they are fit.

Getting fit does not necessarily means going to the gym. Although that is the best way to do it, there are other ways to exercise. Taking a longer walk to the office for example, is something you can do everyday. Park your car farther from your office. If you ride a public transportation, get off two stops before your usual stop. Regular walking is one of the best ways to burn fat. Who knows, you might even bump into a pretty woman while on your way. The longer you walk, the more chance you might meet someone.

Another thing you have to improve is your mind. Always find something to learn. Do not be content to what you already know. There is no limit to gaining knowledge. You don’t even need to study subjects you hated when you were in school. Find something that interests you. Read something everyday. Browse websites. Watch the news. Not only will it add to your knowledge, you will find another subject that you can talk about. And it may open up another avenue for you to meet others.

The language of flowers

In the beginning, God created man, Adam. Then God found that Adam is lonely, so He created a woman for his companion. And her name was Eve. Adam was happy at first – until he found out that God created Eve with something called “moods”. And it was never the same again in paradise. One day, while thinking what to say to Eve, Adam find something red growing out in the plants in God’s garden. Surprised, he plucked one out and looked for God to ask what it is. On his way, he saw Eve and without saying a word, handed that red thing to her. To his surprise, Eve gave him a kiss and a hug and later that evening she even gave him what he had been asking for a long time – a nice, good dinner (its not anal sex as you think, you pervert). Since then, man had discovered the powers that flowers can do with woman. It expresses what men want women to know -- that we are caring, thoughtful and sweet. It’s just that we don’t have the vocabularies to say it with our own words.

Here are some tips when giving flowers to women:

• Do your best to tailor the flower to the recipient. Find out if it's her favorite flower or try to match the color with her eyes.
• “Just because” is the best reason to send flowers! You don’t need an occasion to give her flower. Try sending flowers in the middle of an ordinary week for the ultimate impact.
• Try something new. Roses are most popular, but women will like others as well.
• Get to know your florist. They usually know more about flowers and the best way to use it to express your emotions. For example, different colors and numbers of roses symbolize different things.
• Don’t forget to write something in the card. A personal, well-thought message works the best.
• When handing out the flowers to her by yourself, carry it in full view (don’t put it in a plastic bag). She will love it more if other people (especially women she knows) saw you gave it to her.

Remember that flowers are very romantic. And romance is the language of love. Learn the language and you will get laid a lot.
